Holcombe in fact dominated the German GP, ​​winning both competition days. In the opening race he fought for first place in the Enduro GP with his compatriot and equal brand Brad Freeman and, at the end of the race, the advantage was just 5.44 seconds. At the end of this extraordinary season Beta rose to the top of the world by also winning three Manufacturers' Titles: the most prestigious one in Enduro GP but also in Enduro 3 and Enduro 1, thanks to Steve Holcombe and Brad Freeman respectively. Brad Freeman of Team Beta Boano played an absolute leading role for the Tuscan company: not only did he win the world title in the Enduro 1 category, but he finished as Vice World Champion in the Enduro GP, right behind Steve Holcombe. Also for Team Beta Boano, Matteo Cavallo finally became Junior World Champion. With four world drivers' titles, one Enduro GP World Vice Champion and three other manufacturers' titles, it can be said that the opponents have only crumbs left in 2018.
