Beta RR Racing MY 2021: the new gritty side of the RR 2T-4T [PHOTO]

An overview of eight specimens

A family enriched with the introduction of an unprecedented 200 and functional specifications to compete according to the philosophy Beta. The range presented RR Racing composed of specimens 2T e 4T, eight models ranging from 125 cc 2T to 480 cc 4T.

Features

The sporty character is underlined by racing graphics and red wheel stickers. Vertigo handguards feature consistent features and a model-aligned appearance, along with "In Mold" graphics. The gear lever and rear brake pedal are anodized in black. Then the oil cap referring to the gearbox and those of the engine oil and the oil filter are made of red anodized aluminium, bearing the indications. The racing-type saddle includes a document pocket and features a new covering that strengthens the grip. The footrests are in black ergal, offering a larger support surface and steel pins. On a technical level, the chainring has an anodized aluminum core and steel teeth, therefore red ergal chain tensioners.
The picture is completed by the quick-release front wheel axle which is functional in speeding up repair operations during the competition and Metzeler Six Days tyres. We also note a new exhaust expansion on the 125 2T as a performance refinement especially at high revs, supporting the extension.

The range includes 2T examples 125, 200, 250, 300 cc 2T e 4T 350, 390, 430, 480 cc.
Furthermore, considering the needs of the pilots and in particular the weight, the Beta R&D department also renounced the use of the automatic mixer on this occasion. The renewed RR Racing 2T models, therefore, require an oil/petrol pre-mix. The oil mix can however be installed later as an after-market accessory, as indicated.

A performing chassis

Distinctive features include the dark anodized triple clamps and fork Kayaba AOS with closed cartridge with diameter from 48 mm. A solution known in the enduro scene. The collaboration between Beta and Kayaba has defined a dedicated component with a new design of the feet and specific calibrations for the RR specimens, according to the indications. Highlighted compression and rebound adjustments and sliding friction reduced by the use of anodized internal parts. Finally a new shock absorber calibration ZF da 46 mm.
