Beta: the new Enduro and Trial range at EICMA 2019 [INTERVIEW]

Our interview with Nicolò De Santis

Beta Engine offers numerous new features at EICMA 2019, with the new Enduro RR range in the foreground, but also other new models. We talked about it with the representative of the Italian company Nicolò De Santis.

Beta Engine is one of the protagonists at EICMA 2019, the largest Italian motorcycle fair open to the public at Rho Fiera Milano from 7 to 10 November. The Italian brand brings numerous new features, starting from the Enduro RR range and passing through the Trial family and also the 50cc. We talked about it with Nicolò De Santis, representative of the Tuscan house.

The Beta Enduro RR range at EICMA

“Here at EICMA we have great attention on the new Enduro RR range – the words of De Santis – with major updates in terms of engines, chassis and design. So a completely new bike." A range presented last summer and now shown to the public for the first time.

In addition to the aesthetic innovations, there is a renewed frame, taking into account stiffness and geometry. It is lighter, with micro-cast components and more tapered in the lower part with a view to off-road activities. The range is available in eight engines: four 2-stroke 125/200/250/300 cc and as many 4-stroke 350/390/430/480 cc.

The other Beta news at EICMA 2019

There are also other, as we were saying, Beta's novelties at the Milanese fair: “The Trial family presents the new EVO, with innovations especially in terms of ergonomics, plastics and design. As the latest news, the new 50s, both Enduro and Motard, have been updated."

Speaking of models for the youngest, equipped with an AM license, the new range shares the same double cradle steel frame, differentiated by the type of use (Enduro or Motard). The engine is the liquid-cooled single-cylinder two-stroke, with a 12:1 compression ratio.
