Beta RR Enduro MY 2023: new features for the range and specific interventions [PHOTO]

An overview of eight specimens

Winning features, some interesting innovations across the range and dedicated interventions. The renewed proposal Beta RR Enduro MY 2023 is always made up of eight models, four 2-stroke examples e as many 4-stroke.

An evolved range for 2023

Working in contact with Enduro champions Brad Freeman and Steve Holcombe, the Rignano sull'Arno reality offers innovations that consolidate the qualities already seen with previous examples, both when talking about the cycling part and considering the motoring one. Other important aspects are handling and performance, following the approach of the technicians of Betamotor.
It is therefore not a conceptual revolution, but a progressive evolution to give even greater consistency to the qualities expressed by each example. A new totally red color and the new more essential and taut superstructures stand out, in a more minimalist visual framework. The proposal a 2 times is made up of models with displacement 125, 200, 250 e 300; while that a 4 times includes models with displacement 350, 390, 430 e 480.

Moving on to the specifics, the model RR 125 2 it is the one modified most profoundly in the 2-stroke overview. Work has been done on the engine to intensify its liveliness. A set of changes to increase performance and reduce inertia, making the model even more agile and ready. In particular, a small diameter crankshaft with less space occupied in the crankcase is highlighted. A redesigned element, compensating for the space left available by the shaft, redefining a functional fuel intake flow in terms of performance for the new components, such as a lighter flywheel. Elements active in reducing the inertia of the propulsive heart so as to accelerate more quickly, given less resistance, making the most of the potential. Finally, a new calibration for the exhaust valve is highlighted, useful in managing the supply.

Moving on to the models RR 4, the most obvious innovation is traction control, introduced last October on the Racing range. A system operated via a button located in the usual position between the steering head and the fuel tank. It can be deactivated at any time with both engine maps proposed and its intervention varies depending on the program inserted, with four different scenarios of use of the electronic part.
Speaking of the new engine maps for the 4T models, these allow optimized use of the Beta engines with higher cubic capacity. And all models in the range also feature a new exhaust manifold, larger than the previous one, resulting in better engine response at low revs and an increase in torque in the medium range.

Overall, all specimens of the RR MY 2023 range they are characterized by new red graphics. Compared to what we saw previously, as mentioned, the appearance appears more minimalist thanks to taut and clear lines, with more integrated components.
On an aesthetic level, the shape of the new conveyors in the tank area also stands out, appearing narrower and more streamlined, favoring the rider's movements, especially when tackling tight bends with the bike at an angle with the leg extended forward. They are also more ergonomic for greater sensitivity in the saddle. The suspension part was also refined with work on the internal details of the ZF fork. The geometry of the oil passages around the fork piston changes, to avoid bottlenecks and optimize the fluidity of movement. The intervention on the free oil passages widens the space for maneuver in calibrating the fork and every change to the setting is more perceptible, with the elimination of some structural obstacles, as indicated. Better comfort and greater support of the fork in the first part of the stroke are highlighted, depending on the dynamism.
We would like to inform you that we are available for June.
