“A rude awakening.” With this expression Beta Engine, through its own page on Facebook, informed his enthusiasts of the theft of a batch of motorcycles. According to reports, they were stolen from the warehouse of Rignano sull'Arno, the manufacturer's headquarters in the province of Florence.

The message to “Beta losers”

Starting with a pinch of irony, despite the bad surprise, Beta spoke of a “bad awakening” when it was discovered theft, investigating a break-in in the company's warehouse in Rignano. The Tuscan builder, underlining that the warehouse “it was broken into”, specified that a batch of motorcycles, specifically models, was stolen RR 2 (two-stroke) of displacement 125/200/250/300 and also XTrainer.
Maximum attention is therefore required and also collaboration on the part of anyone who may come across suspicious models, also paying attention to unclear offers of Beta motorcycles at rather low prices. In such cases, the manufacturer indicates a useful address to which you can contact immediately to report any suspicions and allow a rapid verification of the chassis number, i.e. the VIN, simply photographing the code punched on the steering head, as indicated by the brand: support@betamotor.com. In widespread communication, Beta also specifies: “Please bear in mind that we are not just talking about possible complicity in a theft. We wish to alert you for your own protection: the batch of stolen motorcycles was incomplete with some components.” The stolen motorbikes, therefore, are not defined and "in addition to not being able to be registered, they cannot work properly!", recalls the company on the occasion.
