Beta Motor: Roberts Trial World Champion with the Evo Factory 250 2T
The Englishman achieved nine podiums in 10 races
Beta Motor – There is a bit of Italy at the top of the world trials. Ivan Roberts won the title of World Trial Champion TR2 category and he did it driving the Evo Factory 250 2T by Beta Motor.
After a season as an absolute protagonist, with nine podiums in 10 races, the Englishman earned 159 points - against 141 for his direct rival Gabriel Marcelli – which earned him the victory in the world championship ranking. A success that arrived mathematically in the test held last weekend Arch of Trento.
From this year the TR2 "World Champion" title has been recognized by the International Motorcycle Federation in the same way as the other Trial world titles. A great success for Beta and for Roberts' British team, the Beta UK Trials Team, with merit at the top of the world trials.
