Beta EVO Factory MY 2024: the racing soul of the trial models becomes even sportier [PHOTO]

For the first time with electronic key, available from February

Le EVO Factory, racing evolutions of the home trials models Beta, are ready to debut on the market in February, with the Model year 2024 which introduces a series of innovations that add refinement to the model, maintaining its racing nature.

Engine updates

As far as the engine is concerned, the Factory version engines differ from the standard ones in a series of characteristics. The 2 stroke engine of the new EVO Factory features black magnesium crankcases (with a reduced weight of 1.350 grams), edged clutch discs, black anodized engine oil caps, titanium exhaust which on the 250/300 models guarantees a weight reduction of over 600 grams, crankshaft with reduced center distance connecting rod (with the exception of the 125 model), new Meteor pistons.

even the 4T model, in Factory configuration, receives a series of upgrades compared to the EVO. The electronic control unit obtains an increase in electrical power, which translates into greater spark stability and a consequent improvement in combustion at all engine speeds. To unleash the greater power available, the EVO Factory 4T also features a titanium silencer, which is lighter and more high-performance.

At the level of cycling e design, the new EVO Factory MY 2024 differs from the standard version due to the gold fork legs combined with the monoshock with red spring, greater progression of the link, new steering plates machined from solid blue anodized, chain adjusters, black anodized handlebar caps and footpegs, customized red silicone radiator hoses, Galfer racing brake discs, BrakTec brake and clutch master cylinders, rear brake caliper with pad anti-vibration system, new blue anodized Morad rims and Michelin X-light tyres. 

From an aesthetic point of view, the graphic design mixes red and blue, colors that have always distinguished Beta's race-ready models. The Beta red of the plastics and stickers are combined with the blue Ergal components, with the look further embellished by the new matt-gloss graphics, with the matt red parts contrasting the bright blue and white.

For the first time with electronic key

Another great news for the new EVO Factory 24 is the electronic key, with the traditional "kill-switch" replaced by the new electronic key patented by Betamotor. It is a magnetic device with "tear" operation which simultaneously performs both the anti-theft function and that of protecting the motorcycle and rider. 

The key precludes the possibility of starting the engine when disconnected, thanks to a coding that matches it to the lock mounted on the motorbike, discouraging theft of the vehicle when left unattended. In terms of passive safety, with an operation similar to the "kill-switch" device, the motorcycle switches off when the magnetic contact point connected to the rider's wrist and the motorcycle handlebars is disconnected.
