Benelli TRK 800: the new example of the TRK range at EICMA 2021 [LIVE PHOTOS]

Benelli TRK800 it is a new motorcycle designed for traveling and exploring. A model introduced at the 78th edition of EICMA, the International Two Wheel Exhibition.

The motorcycle

Alongside the Benelli TRK502X, this new example represents another piece of the TRK range and the beginning of a new phase for the brand while also recalling its 110 history. A medium studied by Benelli Style Center and developed by R&D department of the brand in Pesaro.
From an aesthetic point of view, the sinuous, fluid and even sculpted features stand out. Elements that recall the connection with TRK range, but at the same time suggest a distinctive and recognizable aesthetic evolution. This can be seen by looking at the front end and the extended front mudguard as a whole, but also by seeing the luminous motif of the double-arched light clusters and full-LED with DRL.
Always looking at the front area, a large adjustable fairing is visible, hand guards and deflectors also appear, functional for protection and comfort while riding. The large fuel tank is also distinctive 21 liters, as well as the saddle connected and designed to accommodate the rider and passenger, to which the characteristic crown handles are addressed.
The motorcycle is equipped with an instrument panel visible on the screen TFT coloured from 7 inches and central stand.

Technology

The frame is made up of a tubular trellis structure with a high-strength steel plate, designed to support comfort and agility in different situations. The ergonomics are defined to favor an optimal riding position and accommodate the rider, passenger and also side cases and top cases.
Please note the presence of a Marzocchi upside-down front fork with fork legs 50 millimeters, adjustable in rebound, compression and spring preload, whose excursion is 170 mm. Behind there is an oscillating aluminum swingarm with central monoshock adjustable in spring preload and hydraulic brake in extension, in this case the excursion reaches 53 mm, with 171 mm to the wheel, according to the information.
The Brembo braking system consists of a double semi-floating front disc 320 mm in diameter and four-piston caliper, while there is a disc 260 mm flanked by a single-piston caliper.
The aluminum alloy rims are of different sizes, from 19 inches frontally and from 17 inches behind. These fit tires in sizes 110/80-19 and 150/70-17.

Motor

The engine is a twin-cylinder 754 cc. A four-stroke, liquid-cooled heart, also present on the Little lion 800. The distribution is a double overhead camshaft with 4 valves per cylinder and a double throttle body whose diameter reaches 43 millimetres. We also note a clutch with torque servoing and anti-slipping function in an oil bath, therefore the combination of a six-speed gearbox.
The power reaches a peak of 76,2 horses (56 kW) at 8.500 rpm, the torque peak is 67 Nm (6,8 kgm) at 6.500 rpm.

Availability

The model will be in Benelli dealerships starting from the second half of 2022according to the instructions.
