Benelli TRK 800: the new adventure bike debuts at EICMA 2022 [PHOTO]

The salon continues EICMA 2022 dedicated to the world of two wheels. Benelli took advantage of this opportunity to present another very interesting innovation: the Benelli TRK800 dedicated to the adventurous.

After previewing the bike at last year's edition, the Italian brand is now owned by the Chinese group Qianjiang has unveiled the production version. Furthermore, we know that the TRK 800 will arrive in European dealerships by mid-2023.

It comes with a 77 HP twin-cylinder engine

It is powered by a 754cc eight-valve parallel twin engine, with liquid cooling, which develops 77 HP of power at 8500 rpm and 67 Nm of maximum torque at 6500 rpm. Alongside there is a 6-speed gearbox and a wet slipper clutch.

La new Benelli TRK800 It comes with a high-strength steel trellis frame and ergonomics that have been revised to make it better suited to both rider and passenger. Up front there's a 50mm Marzocchi upside-down fork that can be adjusted for rebound, compression and preload and offers 170mm of travel. On the back, however, there is an adjustable monoshock with 171 mm travel.

The new adventure bike offers aluminum alloy wheels 19" at the front and 17" at the rear with wire spokes and combined with 110/80-19 and 150/70-17 tubeless tyres. There is also a Brembo braking system with two 320 mm semi-floating discs and four-piston calipers on the front and a single 260 mm rear disc with single-piston caliper.

La new TRK 800 It boasts a fairly large adjustable fairing, hand guards and deflectors that provide good protection for rider and passenger. Finally, it has a 21 liter fuel tank and a dashboard with a 7-inch color TFT screen.
