Benelli TRK 502 X: Euro 2021 approval and refinements for 5

Euro 5 homologation and various aspects that technically evolve the specimen. The renewed one Benelli TRK502X it is powered by a two-cylinder in-line engine shared with the road version.

Features

The example is equipped with a protective fairing, hand guards with aluminum insert and personalized with the model logo, mirrors and grips with the TRK logo, aluminum pawls located in the saddle area and central stand. There is also an exhaust terminal located in a raised position compared to the TRK502, taking into account the possible use on demanding sections. The braking system, including ABS, consists of a 320 mm diameter double disc with a two-piston floating caliper at the front, then a 260 mm diameter disc at the rear. The visual framework is defined by a 19-inch spoked rim at the front and another 17-inch rear wheel with 110/80 and 150/70 tires respectively.

Motor

The two-cylinder in-line heart with liquid cooling and double overhead camshaft distribution complies with the regulations Euro 5, transmitting 47,6 horses (35 kW) of maximum power at 8.500 rpm and 46 Nm of maximum torque at 6.000 rpm. We note interventions on the exhaust system with the introduction of a secondary air system which allows the attenuation of emissions during the start-up phase, generating a post-reaction which quickly brings the catalyst to the operating temperature. Interventions were made on the catalysts themselves, avoiding performance losses, together with a refined calibration of the engine ECU. The primary gear ratio has also been shortened.
