Benelli returns to the States

Benelli – Absent for time immemorial, the historic Italian brand Benelli is about to return to the United States. In fact, SSR Motorsports will be the official importer and distributor for the Qinjiang Group, and will thus bring Benelli motorcycles and Keeway scooters to the US market.

The only detail is that the best Benelli-branded two-wheelers will not, for now, be introduced into the US market and, therefore, SSR will initially carry only the Benelli BN302 and the BN600i, with the price respectively of 3,999 and 6999 dollars. SSR Motorsports cannot be criticized for this decision, since the Benelli Tornado and Benelli TnT are historic models that are difficult to "untie" from the European market and which, perhaps, have also gone a little out of fashion. The more recently developed “Chinese” models, however, are not only cooler, but supposedly more reliable and certainly more affordable.

That said, the Benelli Tornado and the TnT are some of the most loved bikes of all time, with their unique and aggressive style thanks also to their three cylinders. So the arrival of large-displacement Benelli motorcycles in the USA is not to be considered such a chimera.
