Benelli: the news from the Leoncino house at EICMA 2021 [INTERVIEW]

There are four main new features of the brand Benelli introduced at the 78th edition of EICMA, The International Two Wheel Exhibition accessible to visitors from 25 to 28 November 2021. On this occasion we speak with Stefano Michelotti, Project Manager of Benelli.

Benelli news for 2022

The first novelty presented at the show is the Benelli TRK800, which Stefano Michelotti reports as the "older sister" of the already known TRK502, one of the best-selling examples on the Italian market. A motorbike always equipped withforward-facing twin-cylinder unit but more voluminous, in this case since 750 cc.

The brand's Style Center took care of the aesthetics of the model and in Italy the entire cycling part was defined, as reported in the video. A motorcycle ready to be industrialized, after all the tests carried out.

Continuing, other interesting news are the road version is that Trail of the new Benelli Leoncino 800. An example with the distinctive style that connects it to the Leoncino, characterized by shapes that suggest retro elegance combined with other innovative aspects. Marketing is expected in early 2022 and shares the technical platform with the aforementioned TRK 800.
Another interesting introduction is the Benelli Leoncino 125, the renewed compact example that completes the Leoncino overview.
