La Benelli Leoncino 800 Trail it is a "modern-classic" example with an off-road attitude, characterized by a 19-inch front wheel, a revised chassis and a characteristic high double exhaust.

Aesthetics

Sculpted and identifying features typical of the Leoncino 800 model are linked to elements that recall the world of off-road motorbikes. The template design for the 2022 features characteristic elements such as a high fairing visible above the full LED headlight, distinguishable from the well-known arched element (also visible on the steel tank with two tank bumpers), the aforementioned double high side exhaust, designed specifically for this variant, therefore the number holder and heat shield always located on the side. A Lion symbol is visible on the front fender, another distinctive element of the Leoncino.
The Trail model is also equipped with a TFT instrument panel and the seat is designed to offer comfort even on challenging sections. Below it is an aluminum side panel with the Leoncino logo.

Technology

The motorbike is equipped with a chassis designed to also tackle off-road sections. It has a tubular trellis frame with steel plates and at the front it is equipped with a Marzocchi up-side down fork with stanchions whose diameter is 50 millimeters. An adjustable solution in rebound, compression and preload. The excursion reaches i 140 mm, compared to the 130 mm of the road version. Behind there is an oscillating swingarm with central mono adjustable in spring preload and hydraulic brake in extension, with increased wheel travel and the seat is also more raised, to 834 millimeters from the ground. The Brembo braking system, as on the Benelli Leoncino 800, consists of a double semi-floating front disc of 320 mm in diameter and a four-piston radial monobloc caliper and a rear disc of 260 mm in diameter associated with a double-piston caliper.
For some Benelli markets, a new version is also being designed characterized by a Benelli-branded suspension department and braking system.
In the front area, as mentioned, there is a wheel from 19 inches while behind is from 17 inches. 120/70 and 170/60 knobby tires are used.
The engine gives 754 cc it is a twin-cylinder type, a liquid-cooled four-stroke heart. Also noted is a clutch with torque servoing and anti-slipper function in an oil bath, and therefore a six-speed gearbox.
The power reaches i 76,2 horses (56 kW) at 8.500 rpm, the torque reaches its peak 67 Nm (6,8 kgm) at 6.500 rpm.
