Benelli Leoncino 800: initiative at the dealership to learn about the model on 1 and 2 April 2022

An opportunity to get closer to one of the important innovations of the Pesaro brand for the 2022. A motorbike always characterized by a classic style, embellished with more modern solutions and powered by a two-cylinder engine 754 cc. An expanded proposal for some markets with the adoption of a Benelli-branded suspension department and braking system.
The appearance is characterized by sculpted and clear shapes, the well-known arched element also stands out when observing the LED front light unit which recalls that of the Leoncino 250, also found on the steel sheet tank 15 liters. Among the details, we highlight a symbolic Lion on the front mudguard, a Leoncino logo under the saddle, an aluminum side panel extending towards the tank, a saddle with a design designed to accommodate the rider and passenger and an exhaust system characterized by balanced proportions.
The motorbike is equipped with a TFT instrument panel whose design is modern and distinctive.

The motorcycle is equipped with a tubular trellis frame with steel plates. The suspension part includes an adjustable Marzocchi up-side-down fork with fork legs 50 mm and an excursion of 140 mm; while at the rear there is an oscillating swingarm with central mono adjustable in spring preload and hydraulic brake in extension. The braking system is Brembo, specifically a double 320 mm semi-floating front disc with a four-piston radial monobloc caliper and a 260 mm flanked by a dual-piston caliper and ABS. The tubeless aluminum alloy spoked rims are from 17 inches.
The proposal, as mentioned, for some Benelli markets is extended with a new version equipped with a suspension department and a braking system signed by Benelli.
The twin-cylinder engine from 754 cc, four-stroke and liquid-cooled, is characterized by double overhead camshaft distribution, four valves per cylinder and double 43 mm diameter throttle body. The power touches i 76,2 horses (56 kW) at 8.500 rpm and the torque has a value of 67 Nm (6,8 kgm) at 6.500 rpm.
Among the aspects indicated also a clutch with torque servoing and anti-slipping function in an oil bath and a six-speed gearbox.
