The aesthetic features recall a classic style, enriched with contemporary solutions. For 2022, the exemplary Benelli Leoncino 800 evolves animated by a 754 cc twin-cylinder heart and with an expanded offering for some markets with the adoption of a Benelli-branded suspension and braking system.

The elegant aesthetic is enlivened by sculpted and direct shapes, as well as a distinctive arched element visible when looking at the headlight and fuel tank. 15 liters. On this, in sheet steel, the Benelli logo is also visible, while a Leoncino logo under the saddle is associated with an aluminum side panel with modern lines developed towards the tank, defining another design element. The symbolic Lion visible on the front mudguard is also connotative.
Returning to the front light unit, recall that of the Little lion 250 and is completely LED. In addition to the aforementioned arch, it features a centrally located Benelli Leoncino logo. The instrument panel is also of the TFT type and the dashboard itself is characterized by a modern and refined design.
The style of the saddle is also in line with the classic and modern design at the same time, designed to accommodate the rider and passenger, as well as an exhaust system characterized by balanced proportions.

Technology

The frame is a tubular trellis with steel plates. At the front there is an adjustable Marzocchi up-side down fork with fork legs 50 mm and an excursion of 140 mm, while at the rear there is a swingarm with central mono adjustable in spring preload and hydraulic brake in extension. The braking system is Brembo, consisting of a double semi-floating front disc 320 mm with four-piston radial monobloc caliper and a rear disc 260 mm flanked by a dual-piston caliper and ABS. The tubeless aluminum alloy spoked rims are from 17 inches.
The proposal, as mentioned, is expanded for some Benelli markets with the combination of a new version equipped with a Benelli-branded suspension department and braking system.
The engine is a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder 754 cc. A propulsive heart with double overhead camshaft distribution, 4 valves per cylinder and double 43 mm diameter throttle body. We also note a clutch with torque servoing and anti-slipping function in an oil bath, and therefore a six-speed gearbox.
The power reaches a peak of 76,2 horses (56 kW) at 8.500 rpm with a torque of 67 Nm (6,8 kgm) at 6.500 rpm.
