Benelli Leoncino 125: refined style and compact dynamism for 2022 [VIDEO]

An aesthetic that recalls classic styles combined with more contemporary ones, enlivened by contrasting details and colours. The new Benelli Leoncino 125 recalls the Leoncino range and seems designed for young motorcyclists. The model is the protagonist in a film proposed by Benelli on Youtube.

Style

The characteristic stylized Lion stands out on the front mudguard, as on the other Leoncino models. One of the connotative aspects together with the arched motif of the entirely LED front light cluster. The motorbike is offered in different colours White, Grey e Verde.

Observing the tank area, one notices a symbiosis between classic and modern lines, observing in particular the fluid surfaces that make the example distinguishable. The model is equipped with digital instrumentation.

Technical aspects

The motorcycle is equipped with a trellis frame made of steel tubes and the suspension part is made up of an up-side-down front fork with stems with a diameter of 35 millimeters and in the rear area by a swingarm with central monoshock whose excursion is 53 mm. The braking system with solution CBS is defined by a floating front disc 280 mm associated with a three-piston caliper and another rear disc from 220 mm with a two-piston floating caliper.

The new propulsive heart is a single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine 125 cc. This four-valve unit is equipped with electronic injection with a throttle body whose diameter is 28 millimetres. Also noteworthy are a single overhead camshaft distribution, a wet clutch and a six-speed gearbox.
The expressed power reaches i 12,8 horses (9,4 kW) at 9.500 rpm with a torque of 10 Nm (1,0 kgm) at 8.500 rpm.
The bike features 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels shod with 110/80-R17 and 130/70-R17 tyres.
