EICMA 2018 Benelli – Presented in the last edition of EICMA as a concept, the Imperiale 400 by Benelli also returns in the 2018 edition of the exhibition for the official debut.
The bike from the Pesaro company is powered by a new 400 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with single overhead camshaft distribution and electronic initiation. Maximum power is 20.4 HP at 5500 rpm and maximum torque of 28 Nm at 3500 rpm. Imperiale 400 has a mixed double cradle frame made of steel tubes and plates. The suspension department is characterized by the suspension by a telescopic fork with 41mm diameter legs and 110mm travel, while at the rear a swinging arm with double shock absorber, with 65mm travel. The braking system consists of a 300mm diameter disc with 2-piston floating caliper and a 240mm disc with single-piston caliper at the rear. From a design point of view, the chrome exhausts and the round headlight stand out.
Imperiale 400 will be available starting next spring in the colors: black, red and silver, with the price still being defined.
