BIG Built In Garage Café Racer Contest – POSTPONED due to weather

The event dedicated to those who spend time in the garage to make their motorbike unique and personal is back. This is a Contest, a reunion of modified, customized and transformed motorbikes, organized at Motosplash, in via Gardone 22 in Milan. Initially scheduled for Thursday 21 May 2015 from 19,30 pm, it is postponed to June 4th due to weather. Everyone can register without any limitations, just to have created a personal, unique, special motorbike in some way. Registration is simple, find the email to write to Ciapa la Moto Facebook page, giving the availability to be present with the vehicle on the evening of the Contest by 19,00 pm. All participants must, if they are not already members, join the “Ciapa la Moto” association (€5,00). The jury will include well-known operators in the motorbike world, who will select 25 motorbikes from among the candidates present to compete in the final part of the contest. The finalists will be presented by the owners to the jury and will compete for victory. The jurors need no introduction and will be, in absolutely alphabetical order: Pierfrancesco Caliari, Roberto Parodi, Ferdinando Restelli and Paolo Sormani. Prizes offered by Montecatena will be up for grabs for the top three. For those who participate as visitors, in addition to the pleasure of seeing these beautiful specials up close, bar service with the possibility of dining and live music with Roberto Parodi's Peter's Room Band.

The appointment scheduled with the BIG 2 scheduled for May 21st by Motosplash is postponed.
Unfortunately, the forecasted terrible weather convinced the organization to postpone the event to June 4th, obviously maintaining the same methods of implementation. The event is scheduled outdoors and is therefore subject to these issues. Furthermore, it didn't seem appropriate to get the participants' splendid creatures wet. The concept "Only the brave" still applies, but a postponement was preferred in order to repeat the success of the last edition. Participants who have already registered have been notified via email and simply need to confirm their presence, without the need to send a description and photo again. Of course at this point it is still possible to register to participate in the event.
