The heart of the event remains the historical specimens, also considering important anniversaries. The passion for timeless classics pulsates among collectors and clubs, with various brands protagonists of mobility. There is space for historical clubs, for stands dedicated to model making, for restoration craftsmen in addition to the route arts&crafts, considering publishing, vintage or sports clothing, historic trunks or collectibles.
There is also no shortage of the car market, with specialized and private dealers, ranging between classic and instant-classic cars, as well as cars dreamed of because they were revolutionary in their time. A varied grouping of examples of technique and design, as well as a whole series of objects and parts in the pavilion dedicated to spare parts dealers.
Among the aspects mentioned, speaking of motorcycles, the Italian launch of the BMW R 18. The new custom cruiser from the Bavarian brand. Also highlighted is the European preview of the new one Mercedes S. and the presence of the new Bentley Bentayga, as reported.
Three interesting exhibitions that enrich this event, starting from “The ordinary becomes extraordinary”. An exhibition organized together with Aci Storico in pavilion 3 which includes ten unique examples, racing prototypes and racing cars that have made it possible to set records linked by a common denominator: they are all of Italian origin. Among these are Piero Taruffi's Bisiluro Tarf, Lurani's Nibbio, the D46 that Nuvolari drove without a steering wheel and other models resulting from the genius of Italian craftsmen.
For lovers of two wheels, then, there is a space dedicated to the epic of sports motorcycles, observing the exhibition “The Man Who Defeated the Giants”. Twenty models from Genesio Bevilacqua's Moto dei Miti collection. We recall the history of Althea Racing, an independent team that has been able to compete with the great international motorcycle companies, winning titles in Superbike and Superstock on five occasions.
The third exhibition is dedicated to Porsche prototypes, over a period of 30 years, 50 years after the 1970 success at Le Mans.
