Aston Martin AMB 001 Pro: the new superbike inspired by the Valkyrie AMR Pro revealed [PHOTO]

Aston Martin e Upper Brough they took advantage of the event EICMA 2022 of Milan to present a new model inspired by the Valkyrie AMR Pro hypercar: Aston Martin AMB 001 Pro.

It is a superbike designed by Aston Martin and engineered by Brough Superior, which will also be responsible for series production. The new bike maintains the aggressive stance of the previous model, but now offers a series of aerodynamic components such as the new front spoiler, side fins and rear fin. According to the British brand, these new parts increase downforce and improve air flow.

Another new feature on the WBA 001 Pro is the racing livery that combines Aston Martin's Verdant Jade with Photon Lime inserts, satin carbon fiber and Black Cerakote engine and suspension. Also featured on board the new superbike is Aston Martin's lacewing badge which is 99,4% lighter than the normal badge.

A 228 hp twin-cylinder engine was used

Moving on to the technical characteristics, the new Aston Martin AMB 001 Pro boasts a 997cc twin cylinder engine with aluminum base, capable of developing 228 HP of power, i.e. 25% more than the previous model (which offered 182 HP). Combined with a dry weight of just 175kg, the new superbike offers a power-to-weight ratio of just 1,28hp/kg.

According to what was declared by the premium car manufacturer, the new AMB 001 Pro will be produced in only 88 specimens, hand-built at the Brough Superior factory in Toulouse (France). Finally, orders have already been opened, with the first deliveries expected in fourth quarter of the 2023.
