The new NGS1, NGS2 and NGS3 scooters

New generation, distinctive style and an electric boost. The reported debut of the range NGS signed Askoll represents the beginning of another chapter for the Vicenza company involved in the electric vehicle sector. Three scooters with a redefined design, taking into account factors such as maneuverability and lightness.

The new range

Made in collaboration with Italdesign, the three new features Askoll NGS they feature a tubular steel frame and two-seater saddle. The aesthetics appear structured, refined and minimalist, noting a functional development in performance and driving efficiency, as well as the introduction of a new transmission. NGS1 e NGS2 they are equipped with a halogen front light, while the indicators and rear light unit are LED. Full LED instead the front lighting of the specimen NGS3. NGS2 and NGS3 also benefit from a digital display with Bluetooth connectivity and communication module, to facilitate connectivity to the new Askoll Smart Drive App downloadable from Google Play and App Store, through which to monitor the status of the vehicle. Also highlighted are the suspensions, a telescopic hydraulic one on the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear, therefore different braking systems with a front solution with 190 mm disc and 140 mm drum on NGS1, or a hydraulic type with discs combined with both wheels on NGS2 and NGS3. On all 80/80-16 inch wheels at the front and 90/80-16 inch at the rear, dressed with dual compound tyres. Even on the new NGS scooters the batteries are removable and can be recharged through any electrical socket or directly on the scooter using a specific battery charger. As mentioned, the time for a complete charge from 0% to 100% is approximately 3 hours for 1kWh. The range of matching accessories is varied.

Askoll NGS1

The NGS1 scooter, as mentioned, is equipped with a braking system consisting of a 190mm hydraulic disc brake at the front and a 140mm drum brake at the rear. The thrust generated is equal to 1.500 W and the couple gives 100 Nm. It is possible to reach 45 km/h with a maximum indicated autonomy of 40 km, according to EC 168/2013. The Askoll brushless electric thruster is combined with a battery pack lithium ion battery with a maximum overall capacity of 1.045 Wh and 7,6 kg in weight.

Askoll NGS2

NGS2 features disc brakes at the front and rear whose diameter is always 190 mm. The power amounts to 2.200 W and the couple a 130 Nm. The speed reached is always 45 km/h with a maximum range of 71 km, according to EC 168/2013. The Askoll brushless electric motor is powered by two battery packs lithium ion, obtaining an overall capacity of 2.090 Wh considering 7,6 kg of weight each.

Askoll NGS3

The best performing model of the lot has a braking system with CBS system and consists of a 220 mm front disc and a 190 mm rear disc. The driving unit that transmits 2.700 W of power e 130 Nm of torque pushes the vehicle up to a speed of 66 km/h. The autonomy amounts to up to 96 km, according to EC 168/2013. The Askoll brushless electric thruster, in this case, is enlivened by two battery packs lithium ion battery with an overall capacity of 2.800 Wh and 8,1 kg of weight each, taking up the information.

Proposal

The specimens Askoll NGS, in three shades White, red e titanium gray, are sold at the price of 2.490 euros considering NGS1, 3.690 euros opting for NGS2 and 4.190 euros for NGS3, as indicated.
