ASI MotoShow 2024: the new edition will be held from 3 to 5 May

The 2024 edition of theASI MotoShow, scheduled from 3 to 5 May at the Autodromo di Varano de 'Melegari. The two-wheel historical re-enactment event will offer, in addition to the thousands of historic motorcycles present on the track, thematic exhibitions and also the presence of great motorcycling champions of all time. Under the classic motto: "The history of motorbikes on the track".

Attendance from all over Europe

The paddock will be transformed into a truly dynamic museum, with the arrival of participants from all over Europe and even some from overseas. There will be motorcycles of any era: from the origins to the dawn of the third millennium, from the smallest and most manageable motorcycles to racing motorbikes, from the pre-war "underbarrels" to the rabid "125s" of the 90s.

For track performances, the vehicles are divided into category homogeneous, by age or performance: the "antique veteran" from the origins to 1918, the "vintage" from 1919 to 1930, the "post vintage" from 1931 to 1945, the "classic" from 1946 to 1960, the "post classic" ” from 1961 to 1970 and the “modern”, i.e. the most recent, from 1971 onwards.

Laverda's 75th anniversary

The 2024 edition of MotoShow will also be an opportunity to celebrate 75 years of Laverda, founded in 1949. The motorbikes of the historic Venetian brand will be the protagonists of a large international gathering and will offer thematic exhibitions, thanks to the Laverda Motorcycle Museum and the Breganze Moto Club.

Finally, Giovanni Laverda will be the exceptional speaker in the conference entitled "Origins and development of the Laverda 750", while his son Piero will reveal the background of the "1000 V6" project developed in the 70s for the World Endurance.
