The third edition of the Motor Valley Festival it is a demonstration “widespread and hybrid”, as reported, capturing the attention of various enthusiasts in the main cities of the Via Emilia and on the routes present in Emilia-Romagna.
Among the historic two-wheeled examples we note: the Cagiva 500 GP fielded in the 1991 world championship and driven by Eddie Lawson; there MV Agusta 500 from 1974 used by the champion Giacomo Agostini; there Benelli 4 cylinders 1971 driven by Jarno Saarinen; the Honda RS 250 from 1992 driven by Loris Capirossi, therefore several historic racing cars from the 20s to the beginning of the new century.
Moving on to the four wheels, however, the legendary single-seater Maserati 420M “Eldorado” is visible, which took to the track at the 500 1958 Miglia di Monza with Stirling Moss who showed off one of the first and historic sponsored liveries, as remembered; therefore also the Marcos GT “Xylon” on which Jackie Stewart, the future three-time Formula 24 world champion, made his debut on 1961 September 1.

Given the special ASI homologation session, the official delivery to engineer Giampaolo Dallara of the "Targa Oro" will take place for the certification of the first car he built: the SP1000. A characteristic centrally driven "sport three-seater" deployed in the race in 1972. Today it is present at the Dallara Academy as evidence of the construction experience of this reality.
So on Saturday 3 July the aforementioned track becomes an open-air museum with various historic racing cars and motorbikes engaged in various activities. ASI prepares a special homologation session conferring the status of "doc historicity" to examples that have raced and are in perfect original condition. These are awarded the special ASI Identity Certification and the subsequent delivery of the coveted "Targa Oro". The ASI Technical Commission will appear with its most competent and trained specialists, as indicated.
