Ariel is reborn in England

Ariel is reborn in EnglandAriel is reborn in England

In the history of motorcycling Ariel has written important pages as a successful motorcycle manufacturing brand from the beginning of the 900th century until 1969, even if the brightest peak of this historic English brand lies between the 1940 and 1960. The first motorized tricycle that came out of the Ariel factory dates back to 1898, while ten years later the first real 350cc two-wheeler saw the light of day. Ariel has no longer produced motorcycles for over 50 years, but the English company's fast seems to have come to an end. In fact, within the next year Ariel could be brought back to life again thanks to Simon Saunders, an entrepreneur passionate about these British motorcycles.

Saunders has clear ideas that he wants to build the new Ariels in England and equip them with Honda engine, with which it has an existing contract for the supply of Vtec engines for the Civic Type R. Sunders currently uses the Ariel brand, purchased in 1991, for the production of high-performance track day cars, into which it fits the agreement with Honda for the supply of engines. Sunders' intention is to build new Ariel like high performance motorbike and highly customizable for the customer, with the aim of keeping the price of the two wheels within £20.000.
