Arai Tour-X 4 Cover White: safety and versatility in the maxi-enduro segment

A helmet for exploration and off-road enthusiasts. Model Arai Tour-X 4 represents the further evolution of a versatile concept, following the historic proposal “Dual Sports”.

Features

The outer shell results in SFL, a light and resistant super fiber laminate, which also offers functional comfort. Moving on to ventilation, there are diffusers that promote a venturi effect on the area behind, then a double inlet to maximize the air flow and at the same time attenuate noise. The air intake under the sun visor conveys the air flow inside and there is also a closable ventilation hole on the chin guard to manage the flow near the chin, also preventing, for example, the entry of debris. Among the aspects mentioned: underlying side vents, vent on the neck roll and brow ventilation.
Moving on to the internal areas, they are entirely replaceable and can be sanitized with delicate soap and warm water and then rinsed and left to dry for a day, avoiding exposing them to direct sunlight or near heat sources. Multiple types of thickness proposed to ensure an optimal fit.

Functionality and versatility

Various solutions linked to the model are highlighted, from an emergency release system that facilitates access after a possible accident, using an orange tab integrated into the padding, sliding out the pillows considering the removal operations of healthcare personnel, reducing the the risk of other problems. Therefore it also indicates a system “Peel Away” 5mm, i.e. 5 mm padded inserts located on the cheek pads/ear pads and temple padding, maximizing space without additional padding. Also functional Facial Contour System, further optimizing the fit in the jaw area and using a spring support in the cheek pads creating a “rebound effect”. Finally, a sun visor that channels air into the front ventilation holes for cooling and at the same time the use of multiple exhaust ports, mitigating a lifting effect at high speeds, as reported.
Helmet Arai Tour-X 4 it can be used with or without a sun visor, but also with or without a visor, according to need, for example by using glasses.

Proposal
