Arai presents the new QV-PRO Honda Gold Wing

Honda is not only synonymous with speed but also with long-distance performance and comfort: the iconic Honda Gold Wing is in fact perhaps the most famous touring motorcycle in the world, and it will be no different in the new 2018 edition.
When it comes to performance, safety and riding pleasure, the Japanese are second to none: to ensure maximum traveling pleasure on long tours, the Japanese company asked Arai to adapt the qualities of the motorbike to those of a helmet, in in such a way as to create a unique synergy.

Thus was born the new QV-PRO Honda Gold Wing model with advanced anti-reflective VAS visor Pro Shade System (PSS), available in the Red and Gray versions which perfectly match the color combinations of the motorbikes.

The new QV-PRO is an absolute excellence in the sport-Touring segment: it is the second model in the collection equipped with the VAS (Variable Axis System) visor system and was designed to be the best helmet in terms of versatility, inheriting the best of technology from RX-7V, but also considering the needs of the vast sport-touring segment.
The standard PSS visor in fact represents the ideal solution against fogging, condensation and sun glare, without decreasing safety: the integrated sun visor is in fact not mounted inside the recess, which reduces shock absorption, but it was replaced by the Pro Shade System.

This innovative system regulates the aerodynamic flows by reducing the buffeting effect at high speeds and offers protection from the glare of the sun's rays by functioning as a "Peack" (see Tour-X4 and Ct-F).
In the "lowered" position the PSS offers the same function as an internal sun visor, without however negatively affecting safety, thus improving the safety of the already high Arai standard, and maximizing the helmet's ability to slide over any obstacles, a necessary feature to guarantee superior absorption performance in the event of impacts.
