Aprilia Tuono V4 is a powerful new achievement in the evolution of the manufacturer's V4 proposal Noale. A naked in a limited and numbered series defined by aprilia-racing.

Features

A motorcycle developed by the experts of Racing department of Noale and equipped with a carbon front aerodynamic appendage, which refers to the solution visible on the Aprilia RS-GP present in MotoGP, maximizing dynamic stability.
A sports car equipped with high handlebars to be used exclusively on the track and also characterized by a low overall weight, considering 166 kg dry, not far from that of the prototypes used in competitions.
The superstructures are made of carbon and are covered with dedicated "Bol d'Or" graphics, which recall theAprilia RSV 1000 R Factory seen at the 2006 edition of the event. While retaining the original shape, the tank is lighter and the electrical system appears simplified. Also noteworthy are a racing button panel to manage the electronic controls, various elements made from solid aluminum such as the clutch lever, the protection intended for the brake lever and those of the engine crankcase, therefore the fuel cap and the adjustable footrests.
The Brembo braking system is of the racing type, including GP4-MS calipers machined from solid material together with a pair of steel discs with T-Drive technology and control of a 19x16 radial master cylinder, also machined from solid material, as well as Marchesini forged magnesium rims dressed in slick tyres.

The engine comes from the unit that animates the RSV4 1100 Factory. 221 horsepower is delivered to the tree which enlivens the dynamic qualities of the chassis and chassis, characterized by semi-active Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension. Also highlighted is a control unit with revised operating logics, with engine control and vehicle dynamics mapping according to the experience of Aprilia Racing. The color TFT instrumentation is redefined, displaying lap times via an integrated GPS sensor. The engine maps are "full power" and optimized for the racing exhaust system. The Akrapovič system features titanium collectors and a carbon terminal, while the air filter is a highly permeable and waterproof Sprint Filter element.
The anti wheelie, engine brake and traction control levels are designed for track use. An assisted electronic gear shift was also used when downshifting.

A bold new definition to use on the track

The new Tuono V4, after the equally feisty one Aprilia RSV4X, is a sports bike with high handlebars optimized by the Aprilia Racing specialists. A hypernaked that promises pressing dynamism considering a pace of 1'50" in Imola, ridden by Aprilia rider Lorenzo Savadori in the development phase, as reported.
