Aprilia SRV850, here is the new maxiscooter

Aprilia launches'SRV850, which marks the debut of the motorcycle manufacturer in the maxiscooter segment. The Superbike look that tries to disguise the known is evident Gilera GP800 from which it takes shape. A solid base therefore given that the Gilera GP800 represents a point of reference for power, quality and performance. The Aprilia SRV850 will be one of the protagonists among the previews that are warming up their engines to present themselves at the 2011 edition of the Milan Motorcycle Show, which will take place from 8 to 13 November. The new two-wheeler from Aprilia is appreciated for its coherence and faithfulness in proposing the same lines that the motorcycling company offers in Superbike.

The "skeleton" of the chassis and engine, as mentioned, is that of the Gilera GP800 with the addition of some typical characteristics of theAprilia Mana 850. Powering the Aprilia SRV 850 is a specific engine for scooters 850cc 90° V-twin, 4 valves, with electronic injection, capable of reaching a maximum power of 55,9 kW (76,0 HP) at 7.750 rpm and a maximum torque of 76,5 Nm (7,8 kgm) at 6.000 rpm minute, data that places the new SRV 850 at the top of the category. Expected for spring 2012, the new maxiscooter has not yet revealed its price. Always in the name of sportiness and high performance, Aprilia therefore aims to give new life to the reconquest of the public and enthusiasts who have known for years that they can count on one of the top companies in the motorcycle sector.
