A sporty appearance with advanced solutions. The scooter “urban adventure” Aprilia SRGT it is a model designed to move around urban contexts or even venture onto new routes, given some characteristics that are reminiscent of the enduro segment. Two are worth mentioning i-get engines for the specimens 125 e 200 in addition to the variant Sport, aesthetically more aggressive.
The model is the protagonist in a film proposed by Aprilia Official on YouTube, which also features the Mavericks driver Viñales.

Lively and technological style

The overview specimen Aprilia Urban Mobility It presents interesting features that recall the off-road world. The setup facilitates an active riding position, given a wide motorcycle-style handlebar, long-travel suspension, generously sized tires with “all-terrain” tread and a pronounced ground clearance.
Aprilia SR GT is covered with the colors Aprilia Black, Infinity Blue e Street Grey, with footrests, sides and handles for the passenger in silver grey. The saddle is black with gray stitching and the rims are black.
The Sport recalls the liveries of sports motorbikes with satin colours Iridium Grey, Red Raceway e Street Gold with matching passenger handles, associated with a two-tone black and gray saddle with red stitching and red rims. A large "a" for Aprilia is visible on the sides of the shield, the Aprilia writing is also visible on the silver gray footrests, therefore the central tunnel and the sides are in matt black.

Speaking in particular of aesthetics, the full LED lights are made up of three elements, as on the brand's most recent sports cars. Here too, a double fairing stands out on the sides of the shield and the reference to the enduro panorama can be seen by seeing the suspended windshield and the wide naked handlebar, as mentioned. It is attached via a die-cast aluminum riser on which the Aprilia logo appears. The handlebar controls are also of motorcycle origin.
The digital instrumentation on the LCD screen is characterized by various information that can be called up via a MODE button on the left block. By adopting an APRILIA MIA connectivity system, offered on request, it is possible to connect a smartphone to the vehicle via Bluetooth and receive notifications of incoming calls and messages on the instruments. The system allows the management of phone calls through a connectivity button on the right control block and, for example, the use of voice commands from the mobile device, as indicated.
The profile is characterized by tense features and limited overhangs. The riding position appears less rearward and more recessed than a compact GT scooter, being able to also adopt a more forward and relaxed position favored by an ergonomic footboard whose external setting brings to mind the protective plates of off-road models.
The central tunnel includes the tank and forms a connection between the front and rear areas. An aspect that also stands out when looking at the license plate that stands out on the rear wheel and streamlines the rear area, with integrated passenger handles and an equally distinctive full LED headlight unit, which includes the directional indicators.

Technical aspect

The frame is a double cradle, made of high-strength steel tubes combined with an unprecedented long-travel suspension compartment.
In the front area there is a Showa fork with fork legs 33 millimeters in diameter and with a range of 122 mm, 22% higher than the competition, according to indications. At the rear there is a pair of double-acting Showa shock absorbers and coil spring with preload manageable in five positions. The excursion results in 102 mm, more than 7% compared to the competition.
The tank has a capacity of 9 liters and approximately 350 km of autonomy are expected, so the under-seat compartment gives 25 liters It can accommodate a full-face helmet, but accessories are also offered to enhance the loading capacity of the scooter, including a 33-litre aluminum top case. Another characterizing aspect is the minimum distance from the ground of 175 mm, a factor that differentiates it from traditional GT scooters, allowing it to go over bumps and unevenness effectively. The weight reaches i 144 kg with a full tank, which they become 148 kg in the case of a 200 specimen.
The braking system consists of a front disc 260 mm with daisy profile and another disc behind 220 mm, whose profile is still daisy-chain on the 200 models and the 125 Sport version. The Aprilia SR GT 125 is equipped with a CBS combined braking system, while the Aprilia SR GT 200 features a single-channel ABS anti-lock braking system developed with Bosch.
The rims are in light alloy of different sizes, 14 inches at the front and 13 inches at the rear with "all-terrain" tires and slightly knobby tread with a wide section measuring 110/80 and 130/70.

Thrusters

The versions are equipped with Euro 5 approved propulsion units from the i-get family. Electronic injection engines with four-valve distribution and liquid cooling.
As well as a compact i-get single-cylinder engine from 125 cc, there is also a new single-cylinder 174 cc that animates the Aprilia SR GT 200 model. The power of the most compact unit reaches the 11 kW at 8.750 rpm and the torque is 12 Nm at 6.500 rpm.
The power of the 200 model reaches altitude 13 kW at 8.500 rpm with a torque of 16,5 Nm at 7.000 rpm.
The greater performance required the use of a more efficient radiator package, therefore a revised CVT transmission and a new larger clutch.
All Aprilia SR GT models are equipped with a Start & Stop system called RISS (Regulator Inverter Start & Stop System). A solution that involves the elimination of the classic starter motor with the adoption of a brushless electric machine installed on the crankshaft.
