Aprilia RSV4 and RSV4 Factory: the evolution of a sporty character [TEASER VIDEO]

A concept refined over time and further evolved in the two new definitions: Aprilia RSV4 distinguishable only by the livery Dark Losail e Aprilia RSV4 Factory in the colors Aprilia Black o Lava Red. Two versions with the same V4 engine, now 1.099 cc, but different in terms of equipment. The Factory, as reported, includes an Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension system, Brembo Stylema braking calipers and forged aluminum wheels.
The appearance is the result of work on applied aerodynamics and recalls, observing the proposed perspective, the new RS 660. The drag coefficient is contained in relation to the performance, considering an increase in air pressure in the airbox with an increase in downforce, keeping the information in mind. The winglets themselves no longer appear as added elements but are integrated into the double-walled fairing, functional for stability at high speeds and cooling needs. Also characteristic is the triple LED arrangement with perimeter DRL lights in the front area, with an integrated "bending lights" function as reported.

Technique and performance

The bike is equipped with a new and lighter swingarm with lower reinforcement truss, designed to reduce mass and increase stability of the rear axle in progression. Interventions also on ergonomics with a new tank and a new saddle, offering greater space and a more relaxed position, as reported. There are more functional electric controls and a new and larger one TFT instrumentation. Through one new Marelli 11MP control unit and the six-axis inertial platform, both more performing, electronic management with full throttle control Ride-by-wire is evolved, like the operating logics of theAPRC. The overview of electronic controls then includes a multilevel control of the engine brake and are highlighted you are Riding Mode: three for track use, two of which can be customised; therefore three more functional on the road and of these one customizable. The driver can select the preferred Riding Mode, automatically obtaining answers on the tuning of ABS, engine braking, Traction Control, Wheelie Control and other associated parameters.
