The new Aprilia RS 660 Trophy, already a protagonist in the single-make championship, is available for those who love the thrills of the track. A new sports car designed for use on tracks, characterized by a low weight and created by the racing department aprilia-racing, considering the program factory works.

The specialised farming model

Alongside Aprilia Racing there are important partners such as Castrol, Zanasi Group, Cruciata, Jetprime, Spider and Bike Lift. The information is available on the FACTORYWORKS.APRILIA.COM portal, through which you can contact Aprilia Racing directly to order an example of the new RS 660 Trophy. The motorcycle can be sent to the customer or collected from the Aprilia racing department, as indicated.
This sports car in the Trofeo version is characterized by quality components, based on a functional balance between chassis, electronics and engine. In short, a sporty twin-cylinder with a congenial weight/power ratio and sophisticated electronic solutions.

Keeping in mind the standard RS 660, the chassis has been modified, featuring a lowered riding position with a racing upper steering plate with adjustable handlebars. The position of the footrests is also manageable and can be dismantled, thus optimizing ergonomics. We also note a fiberglass hull. The suspensions consist of a front fork with internal "Misano by Andreani" cartridge, being able to adjust the hydraulic brake in compression, extension and preload, then behind there is an Ohlins AP948 shock absorber with hydraulic adjustment of the spring preload and the compression and rebound brakes. The bike is equipped with Pirelli Supercorsa V3 SC1 tyres.

Other interventions concern the electrical system, in particular the elimination of the key block and ABS. The ABS control unit however remains housed and connected, thus exploiting the strategies of the integrated electronic system. The control unit has been reprogrammed in the Race version, adopting "full power" mappings designed by Aprilia Racing for exclusive use on the track, as well as tuned to the SC Project racing exhausts. The color TFT dashboard was then reprogrammed and integrated with a specific left button panel. The braking system has also been simplified with the adoption of independent pipes.
The secondary air system and thermostat have been eliminated with the adoption of aluminum protections for the clutch and generator cover, as well as a specific Sprint Filter air filter.
The modifications relating to the engine have made it possible to obtain a power of 105 horses, which represents a record for a front-facing twin-cylinder, with a dry weight of 153 kg.
