Aprilia RS 660: the long-awaited novelty for EICMA 2019. And not only [PHOTO]

THEAprilia RS 660 it is the most awaited novelty of the Noale brand for EICMA 2019, the most important Italian motorcycle show, open until Sunday 10 November. A model that introduces a new concept of sportiness, with premium technical content and high performance. But the Tuono 660 Concept, the RSV4 110 Factory and the Tuono V4 1100 are also present at the Milanese show.

The characteristics of the Aprilia RS 660

Going into more detail about the most anticipated model, the Aprilia RS 660 offers a weight / power ratio (169 kg for 100 HP) capable of providing excellent riding fun on this motorcycle. Even technically it is a one-of-a-kind proposal: new frame and swingarm in lightweight aluminum; new parallel twin engine with great performance accessible to all.

The equipment electronic it is inherited from the RSV4, with a Ride-by-Wire throttle control and a six-axis inertial platform, to allow the operation of the APRC electronic aid package, with five driving modes for the road or track. Speaking of aerodynamics, this model boasts a double fairing to optimize stability at high speeds.

The other Aprilia models at EICMA 2019

The other innovation brought to the Rho Fiera Milano event is theAprilia Tuono 660 Concept. A naked version, characterized by the same technical contents as the RS 66, but with an even greater road connotation, offered by the raised riding position on the wide and wide handlebars. It is also suitable for new drivers, given the availability of the 34 kW version, but also for young motorcyclists looking for fun on the road and track.

The V4 range has also been renewed with the RSV4 1100 Factory , Tuono V4 1100 Factory. The first is powered by a 65° V four-cylinder engine with a power of 217 HP, never seen before on a production sports car. The second is the most exclusive version of the Tuono range, with numerous carbon fiber details, Ohlins electronic suspension and 175 horsepower engine.
