The specialised farming model

The abbreviation SP it refers to “Sport Production”, a new specimen developed by aprilia-racing in collaboration with Ohvale. And on the occasion Roman Albesian also recalls the active participation of the historic technical chief of the Noale company, in particular of RSV4, Mariano Fioravanzo.
We started from one Aprilia 125 RS, revolutionizing the project by thinking about using the vehicle on the track. Therefore a high performance motorcycle, designed for Italian FMI Aprilia Sport Production Championship, as already reported.
Having replaced several components with high-level parts, suppliers such as Brembo, Marchesini and Öhlins are remembered, to the point of defining a vehicle for a new Sport Production series. An interesting opportunity for comparison for future young motorcycling talents.
Moving on to the technical part, Eng. Albesiano underlines one reduction weighing 35 kilograms compared to the original model, but also particular attention to aerodynamics refined in detail, with a side section resized for greater handling and attention also to ergonomics, given a reduced height, a more compact and a racing set-up. Aspects similar to those of every racing motorbike.

Motor

The heart of this Aprilia RS 250SP It is a single-cylinder, double-shaft engine 250 cc which delivers power around 30 horsepower. The development took place on the track thanks to the work of historic test drivers linked to the Noale brand. The mechanical parts are stressed in the roller bench, checking their durability and consistency.
