The maximum expressions of sportsmanship signed Aprilia they are brought together on the track and transmit their character. In a video proposed by Aprilia Official on YouTube, the models of Aprilia RSV4 e Thunder V4.

The new Aprilia RSV4 and RSV4 Factory

Aerodynamic shapes with a strong character. The new Aprilia RSV4 e RSV4 Factory they represent two examples of symbiosis between functional aesthetics and pure performance power. The results of the brand's sporting experience, through refined work on aerodynamics and the most recent RSV4, like the sportiest examples, has been designed to simply eliminate unnecessary elements when taking to the track.
The aerodynamic drag coefficient of the new RSV4 is contained for the benefit of performance, as reported, furthermore the protection from the air for the driver has increased by 11%, keeping the shoulders and head more insulated. There is a new 17,9 liter tank (with four in reserve) which promotes support, to be considered together with a new 9 mm lower saddle and 10 mm lower footrests with superior grip. The front setting is also functional, increasing the air pressure in the airbox by 7%.

The different technical and technological solutions are interesting, such as theOBTi interface (Objective Based Tuning Interface) on the instrumentation TFT in color from 5 inches, the active electronic controls of Aprilia o APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) and the six Riding Modes reported. The wheelbase extends for 1.435,8 millimeters and the saddle figure a 845 mm high.
The RSV4 and RSV4 Factory models are equipped with the same V4 engine, but distinguishable based on some aspects, in particular the suspension part. The RSV4 Factory is equipped with Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspensions, developed after targeted development work followed by Swedish and Noale technicians on circuits such as Imola and Mugello and also on the road, obtaining a refinement of the response compared to the same suspensions Öhlins with mechanical operation. The specific technology linked to the Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension allows the calibration of the fork and shock absorber with two intervention modes selectable via the buttons on the handlebar: semi-active mode and manual mode.

The models can also be distinguished by their colours. Aprilia RSV4 it is proposed in the same colour Dark Losail composed of the combination of gray and black, while RSV4 Factory, together with a more substantial set-up, is also characterized by forged aluminum wheels and features graphics Lava Red (a combination of purple and red recalling the RS 250 in the 1994 Replica Reggiani version in the two-stroke era) and Aprilia Black (glossy black and touches of red).
The engine of the new RSV4 and RSV4 Factory is a V4 heart which expresses the same performance on both and also highlights the introduction of a new Magneti Marelli ECU 11MP control unit with a superior calculation capacity.

Compared to the previous engine of the RSV4 1100 Factory, this is an advanced unit compliant with the regulations Euro 5 with a new bore per stroke ratio, going from the previous 52,3 mm to the current 53,3 mm, while the 81 mm bore remains unchanged. The crankshaft is also new with an increased crank radius. The displacement reaches now 1.099 cc and the new torque value is equal to 125 Nm at 10.500 rpm. The peak power remains at 217 horses at 13.000 rpm. Also noteworthy is a new exhaust system with a ceramic matrix substrate catalyst, which is more robust and has lower thermal inertia as well as being lighter than the one previously used on the RSV4 RR.

The new Aprilia Tuono V4 and Tuono V4 Factory

Aprilia Tuono V4 it is a naked designed for travelling, while Thunder V4 Factory He has a proactive nature with a more marked sportsmanship.
The design remains bold, sculpted, aerodynamic and is linked to technological contents similar to those of the RSV4.

Aprilia Tuono V4 is available in different colours Tarmac Grey which involves a combination of gray and black, as well as Glacier white where opaque white prevails. Colors that underline the elegance of this version equipped with greater road attitude typical of a sports tourer, developed in parallel with the spirited Thunder V4 Factory. An example with ergonomics designed to support riding comfort, starting with the raised handlebar which facilitates a more upright and relaxed posture, as well as a larger wind tunnel-defined windshield. There is also a larger cushion for the passenger, along with a grab handle and lowered footrests. Among the matching accessories, a pair of asymmetric side panniers stands out. Given the different nature of the model, the Aprilia Tuono V4 also features a trio of multi-adjustable Sachs suspensions with fork and rear shock absorber, designed for a more fluid, albeit dynamic, type of riding. A longer final drive ratio is also highlighted. The original equipment tires are Pirelli Diablo Rosso III, the rear one is 190/55.

The Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory is characterized by a large and interesting set-up which includes an Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension system, compared to the aforementioned trio of multi-adjustable Sachs mechanical suspensions of the Tuono V4. The livery Aprilia Black, in glossy black with red accents, highlights the aluminum frame. There is a new saddle at a more welcoming and extended height of 825 mm, the tank can hold 18,5 liters and the motorbike is equipped with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres, the rear one with an increased section of 200/55 approved and also available for l 'exemplary Tuono V4 mounted on 17-inch wheels.

The engine is always V4 1.077 cc. An evolved heart keeping in mind the Euro 5 anti-pollution regulation and with a distribution system characterized by spring cups combined with lighter valves and a maximum rotation speed of 300 rpm higher, going from the 12.500 rpm of the previous unit to the current ones 12.800 rpm, as indicated above. Also highlighted is the introduction of a new Magneti Marelli ECU 11MP control unit which allows the connection of a greater number of elements with the management of more complex algorithms, in light of a greater number of pins and a four times faster calculation capacity. The power reaches altitude 175 horses at 11.350 rpm and the torque peak is 121 Nm at 9.000 rpm.
