Anvil Motorcycles: from Snowquake to Motor Bike Expo 2017

Anvil Motorcycles – The now established brand, in the world of fashion as well as in that of customers, has decided to start this 2017 with great charisma and energy, "jumping" immediately from Snowquake in the province of Vercelli up to the Motor Bike Expo of Verona.

Lo Snowquakes consists of an exciting race on ice now in its second edition and organized by Deus ex Machina: it took place on the Ice Rosa Ring circuit in Riva Valdobbia in the province of Vercelli. For the occasion, a Suzuki DR 500 from 1981 da Alessandro Phonz Fontanesi and Electric silencer  da Saint Mark Philos. The event took place in the name of fun and euphoria, seeing the two Anvil gentlemen fighting on the circuit, always determined in the search for victory.

From Vercelli, the energetic duet will head towards Verona for Motor Bike Expo, where they will present the Ducati Scrambler designed by Anvil Motociclette. The goal was to create a product that evoked the old one Ducati R/T, cousin of the Scrambler, a motorbike created for the American market of the 70s: a rough, spartan and essential motorbike. This was precisely the starting point for Anvil, which interpreted the essence of this model in a modern key on the Scrambler. “We started from the new Ducati Scrambler 400, we kept the engine, part of the front frame and remodeled everything else”– say the Anvils.

And given that the Verona event is the most important in Europe in the custom sector and opens the season, it was chosen by Anvil as an exceptional stage to present a preview Wildays, the craziest 72 hours. The event – ​​organized by the couple in collaboration with Gian Maria Montacchini, Extragroup and Anastasia Fontanesi – will involve the Riccardo Paletti racetrack in Varano de' Melegari and the Food Valley which frames the circuit.
