Alpinestars Tech 10 Indianapolis: the Limited Edition cross boot

On the occasion of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship stage, Alpinesters launched a new, limited edition version of the Tech 10 boot, called 'Indianapolis', just like the race venue.

The CE certified Tech 10 is a technologically advanced and protective boot that incorporates innovative materials in a streamlined design. The “Indianapolis” version combines all the technological properties of the Tech 10 in a new color, worn by: Eli Tomac, Marvin Musquin, Cooper Webb, Justin Barcia and all Alpinestars riders. The Tech 10 has set the standard for Motocross boot performance and protection for over a decade and for summer 2018 the Tech 10 boot has been completely redesigned, and performance has been increased even further, the new boot represents a completely new approach new, improving its ability to offer the rider the maximum in terms of sensitivity, comfort and safety. The design of the Tech 10 (2019 Model) was guided by three priorities as Alpinestars technical footwear development team sought to improve overall functionality, performance and safety, whilst reducing weight while also reducing volume. Maximizing these priorities is the key achievement of the new Tech 10 and the result is an all new boot with a greater range of motion and flexibility, offering better control over bending and torsional forces which significantly improve the performance of the boot, giving the rider greater safety and protection. The most significant updates to the Tech 10 are: the Flexion Control frontal structure, the asymmetrical double pivot arm, the patented Dynamic Heel Compression Protection Shock Absorber system and the thinner and more aerodynamic sole. The weight, as already mentioned, has been reduced by over 400 grams. The special edition is distinguished by a special livery, characterized by a color scheme: black, metallic red and red.
