Overall, the operation is simple: “There is a control unit that controls the algorithm which, in turn, activates two micro charges present inside the airbag. The information is given to the three sensors, three accelerometers and a gyroscope, which communicate with the control unit every two milliseconds. If the control unit detects the danger threshold compared to the values ​​detected in the tests, the airbag comes into operation".

"The system allows for a bag activation time of 25 milliseconds for the road version – continues Casteller -. The system works with a very common lithium battery and recharges like a normal cell phone. With six hours of charging, 25 hours of use are guaranteed, while if you are in a hurry, just charge it for an hour to use it for four".
