Akrapovič Slip-On Titanium, the “GP” exhaust has arrived

Akrapovič Slip-On Titanium – Akrapovič has launched the latest exhaust for the 1 Yamaha YZF – R2015 which is directly inspired by the MotoGP cars of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo.

Made entirely of lightweight titanium Slip-On Akrapovič line gives the bike the "GP" look, just like the Yamaha YZR-M1 2014 led by the Rossi – Lorenzo duo. Slip-On completely changes the face of the bike by adding power and torque at all rpm ranges and giving it the unmistakable Akrapovič sound to make the Grand Prix profile stand out even more. There titanium muffler it is made with track-proven materials and is equipped with a carbon fiber heat shield that enhances the racing look. The Slip-On exhaust, lighter than the standard ones, harmonises perfectly with the lines of the motorbike, enriching it with added value. With a comprehensive and complete assembly manual, the plug-and-play exhaust installs easily without having to remap or add components. Furthermore, it is CE and ECE approved and is also CARB and EPA compliant for noise.

Designed exclusively to match the titanium Slip-On line muffler, it is also available an optional lightweight titanium connector which will transform the exhaust and make the performance of the R1 skyrocket even higher, giving it more power and torque. The connector will fully exploit the potential of the bike. This option also includes the titanium manifold and connector, perfectly coordinated with the standard exhausts. The addition of the optional manifold transforms the Slip-On line exhaust into a complete system that will completely change the performance of the Yamaha R1.
