Akrapovic Full Moon, a unique piece for all eras [PHOTO]

Akrapovic Full Moon – Slovenian motorcycle exhaust manufacturer Akrapovic unveiled a new concept at the Bad Salzuflen Custombike Show in Germany called Full Moon.

The new Akrapovic two-wheeler was designed with the help of the manufacturer Dreamachine Motorcycles, a Slovenian atelier that collaborated with the exhaust manufacturer also in 2011 for the Morsus, and is characterized by its massive 30-inch front wheel, a large open space surrounding the engine and a “bulbous” rear end. There large front wheel of the Akrapovic Full Moon, which is the one that also gave it the name “Full Moon”, is made in aluminum and carbon and is equipped with a composite perimeter disc brake that is larger than that of most traditional motorcycles.

The wheel and the arch of the frame they make the V-Twin engine seem smaller, while it is surprising to know that the S & S Knucklehead thruster has a power of 1524 tsp. The bodywork and rear frame are made of sheet metal, while the metal body integrates two custom-made Akrapovic exhausts, which make the entire bike considered as “big exhaust” Akrapovic. “This concept was developed to escape all labels, it is a motorcycle that belongs to no time but also to all eras, a unique piece. The name comes from the enormous 30″ aluminum and carbon wheel, an image that makes it immediately recognisable. It took 800 hours to build and features a 1.524 cc S&S Knucklehead engine, modified with custom-made Akrapovic exhausts. All the way back there is a sheath for the exhausts,” said the Slovenian company.
