Helmet AIROH MATRIX represents a new integral type proposal. An example at the top of the road range designed for enthusiasts looking for a mix of aesthetics and functional contents for protection and comfort. The helmet turns out ECE 22-06 approved and was developed in the laboratories of the Bergamo headquarters, in particular in the wind tunnel.

The specialised farming model

The design defined by sinuous and aerodynamic lines immediately stands out. The wind tunnel tests also allowed us to carry out checks on acoustics and thermoregulation, which are equally functional when it comes to comfort.
The outer shell, in two sizes, is developed in Full Carbon 3K or HPC, acronym for High Performance Composite. Two shells and different sizes, ranging from size XS to XXL with a weight of 1450 g ±50 g in the case of the Full Carbon 3K variant and 1500 g ±50 g when switching to the HPC version, according to the indications.

One is highlighted ASN system (AIROH Sliding Net) with a peculiar 3D fabric structure which, in addition to facilitating the passage of air, attenuates the forces transmitted to the head in the event of an impact. Also figure one AEFR System technology (AIROH Emergency Fast Release) for quick removal of pillows if necessary.

The ventilation system includes vents located on the upper part and on the chin guard. Designed for year-round use, there is also a Stop Wind solution in two lengths: a short one that protects against annoying air infiltrations and a longer one to also protect from the winter cold. Also indicated is a removable nose cover.
Remaining on the ventilation system, there are spoilers with rear extractors that are functional in optimizing internal ventilation. Ventilation can also be adjusted by wearing gloves, adapting the vents and managing the ventilation according to the situation.

The MATRYX helmet is equipped with a large visor with ATVR technology (AIROH Tool-less Visor Removal) as well as being resistant to UV rays. We also highlight the predisposition for the supplied Pinlock 120XLT lens, with an innovative A3S system, the AIROH Automatic AntiFog System, in combination with a central locking system. Among the various solutions there is also an integrated Sun Visor.
The internal areas are defined with high quality fabrics, such as the innovative Coolmax, also indicating exclusive treatments to promote pleasant contact and breathability. In short, these are hypoallergenic interiors, which can be removed and washed. Also highlighted is the provision for the use of an intercom via a Bluetooth Ready system, being able to place the battery in a dedicated internal space. The DD Ring retention system also allows it to be used on the track.

Figures

For the helmet AIROH MATRIX, available soon, a suggested retail price starts from 359,99 euros for the variant with HPC shell and 499,99 euros for the carbon model.
