Giacomo Agostini, legendary icon of the two wheels with his fifteen world titles and the first Italian rider to win, in 1974, the 200Miglia of Imola, and Luca Cadalora, a famous former driver from Modena who was a 3-time world champion in his career, will be the guests of honor at Yamaha on the occasion of 200Miglia Imola Revival 2013, the fourth re-enactment of the historic motorcycle competition which has been regularly staged on the Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Circuit in Imola, this year scheduled for April 19th to 21st.

The event with a nostalgic spirit will see the two old glories of the Iwata company engaged in various performances astride the most fascinating motorbikes of the past, exactly 41 years after the first edition of the Imola competition (1972). The "leap in time" will in fact see Ago and Cadalora once again wearing the tight vintage-style leather suits, getting on the saddle of unforgettable marching works of art, lowering the visors of their helmets on the grid and returning to feeling the air who tries in vain to stop their progressive progress on the asphalt strip of the Imola circuit emerging from the Rivazza hill, the scene of historic and interminable duels that marked an era, and which still remain fixed in the hearts and minds of many enthusiasts.

The Yamaha pair will thus warm up the traditional large audience of the 200Miglia di Imola Revival initially alternating on one Official Yamaha YZR-M1 MotoGP of the team Yamaha Factory Racing in 50th Anniversary edition, with table 1Aug + 3Luca, to then also experience the thrill of taming a "scurvy" two-stroke of the era, that is, the legendary Yamaha YZR-500 No. 1 white-red World Champion 1986 with the American Eddie Lawson, belonging to the collection of Team Radiant.

But it doesn't end here. The two drivers will also be protagonists of the launch of a special charity initiative: the famous collector Pierluigi Poggi, owner of the Moto Poggi COMP Collection, private exhibition of the most exclusive Yamaha racing motorcycles in the world, will in fact donate a 250 Yamaha TZ-1998 from his collection, which will be autographed by Agostini and Cadalora in Imola, to the "La Nostra Famiglia" Association of Bosisio Parini (LC) www.lanostrafamiglia.it, which has reached its 50th year of activity this year and is currently involved in the “Ospedale Amico” development project. While waiting for a lucky new buyer, the charitable TZ-250 will continue to reside at the Moto Poggi COMP Collection, a true two-wheel treasure located a short distance from the circuit, in the province of Bologna (Villanova di Castenaso, Via di Vittorio 2 ), exceptionally open to the public with free entry and continuous hours from 9.00 to 19.00 on Sunday 21 April.

The eagerly awaited weekend will therefore see the Imola paddock transformed into a true hotbed of Yamaha passion with the exclusive opportunity for fans of all ages to admire not only their old idols on the track, but to get closer to them during photo and autograph sessions, alongside the numerous vintage jewels, three tuning forks belonging to the two Official Yamaha Clubs TZ Italia and RD Series.
