At Motodays 2014 Italmoto S Classic and S Sport

Italmoto, a young brand, obviously all Italian, young entrepreneurs capable of pursuing an idea of ​​mobility entirely conceived and produced in our house; innovation and creativity, but also elegance and robustness. Two scooters were born from the Italmoto idea, exhibited here at Motodays 2014, S Classic and S Sport, and for both versions it is possible to choose between 3 engines: 50, 125 or 150cc.

On board the Italmoto scooter you sit comfortably, the posture is ergonomic, the look is moderately vintage. The saddle is comfortable, even spacious and the footrest leaves the right space for the rider's legs and feet. Italian project, components accordingly: front disc brake with Brembo caliper (behind there is a drum), Paioli shock absorbers. The engines, as we were saying, range from 50 to 150cc (Euro 2 for the 50cc, Euro 3 for the 125 and 150) and are all 4-stroke single cylinders, single overhead camshaft with 2 valves; power reaches 7,7 kW for the larger displacement and is delivered at 8.000 rpm. Cooling is by forced air. The frame is sturdy steel truss, connected to a telescopic fork at the front, while a monoshock is mounted at the rear.

The weight is limited, the 150cc version weighs just over 90kg, and suggests an agile ride in the name of easy handling, also possible thanks to the small 12″ wheels; the saddle is at a height of 78 cm suitable for all heights. The engine promises to be brilliant, come on low consumption (6 liters of capacity for the tank) and well tuned with the transmission CVT continuous speed variator. There is no shortage of space for the passenger, even if at a quick glance, the grip doesn't seem ideal.

In the version S CLASSIC dominates an elegant look and visually light, while Italmoto S sports It offers a more captivating visual impact, with sportier aesthetic details and flashier colours. Prices they start from 1.790 euros for the S Classic 50 to 2.340 for the S Sport 150 version.
