The new Ducati Monster Diesel arrives in July

The marriage between Diesel and Ducati continues after the sponsorship of the Ducati team in MotoGP. The Diesel Style Team, directed by Diesel's founder, Renzo Rosso, together with the Ducati Design Centre, has in fact brought a new "urban military-chic" interpretation to the iconic naked motorcycle. This is the new Diesel Monsters, a combination of creativity, innovation, courage, charm, but also irreverence and fun.

From a technical point of view, the Monster Diesel is based on the Ducati Monster 1100^EVO basic version and features the same equipment and specifications. While taking inspiration from the famous predecessor, however, the new creation combines color combinations with dedicated details that give a "military-chic" look that fits perfectly with the lifestyle of younger, expert and self-confident pilots. The new exclusive matte Diesel Brave Green color matches the total black look of the frame and rims which extends to the engine covers, exhausts and forks, while the front brake calipers have a yellow color that recalls the exceptional performance of the Monster 1100^EVO. Furthermore, new dedicated details have been designed such as the passenger seat cover, the exhaust system heat shield and the dashboard cover to offer the sensation of being in front of a military vehicle.

The rear style is more dynamic and sharp thanks to the new exhaust with silencers stacked vertically and placed on the right side. The new wheel rims feature the same 10-spoke design as the powerful Streetfighter and 1198 to underline the even sportier soul of the new Monster. Furthermore, the separate passenger footrests, a typical solution on sportier motorbikes, contribute to making the side view lighter and more dynamic.

The Monster Diesel is also extremely easy to handle thanks to a dry weight of just 169 kg and the 100 HP of the Desmodue Evoluzione engine, the most powerful 2-valve Ducati ever, in order to guarantee a new and absolute riding pleasure, combined with a perfect agility.

However, we will have to wait until July for the new Ducati Monster Diesel to be put on the market in Italy at the price of 13.490 € turnkey, including €250 registration fee and 21% VAT . If, however, you can't wait four months and you at least want to admire it in person, you can take advantage of the presentations scheduled in Rome on March 22nd and in Tokyo on the 29th.
