Yamaha announces prices and availability of the new TMAX and YZF-R6

On the occasion of Intermot and EICMA 2016, the world of two wheels witnessed the birth of a new chapter in the Tre Diapason history, thanks to the presentation of the new versions of two models which, in their respective worlds, have played a predominant role for years: the TMAX maxi scooter and the YZF-R6 medium-sized super sports car.

In 2001, the scooter planet witnessed a revolution that radically changed its landscape. In fact, with the birth of the Yamaha TMAX, a new category of vehicles came to life that combined the level of handling and performance of a sports motorcycle with the comfort and practicality of a scooter. After sixteen years and with over 233.000 units sold, TMAX continues to win the hearts of scooter riders around the world.

On the occasion of EICMA 2016, the Iwata company unveiled the latest edition of this maxiscooter which, in addition to presenting a series of important innovations on the hull, engine, chassis and electronics, has proven to be even more versatile as it is available in three different versions: TMAX, TMAX SX, and TMAX DX. Created to meet the different needs of scooter riders, these three variants amaze with their exceptional levels of performance, technology and style:

– TMAX has become even more customizable thanks to the variety of components and accessories available;

– TMAX SX, available in special colors and equipped with a D-MODE variable mapping control unit, was designed and created specifically for scooter riders with a sportier soul.

– TMAX DX is the top of the range and the definitive answer to those looking for maximum comfort thanks to some electronic control technologies such as D-MODE and Cruise Control, the adjustable screen and the heated saddle and grips.

All three versions will be available in Official Yamaha Dealers starting from April 2017 at the following prices:

To underline the fundamental importance of its sporting and racing DNA, Yamaha, on the occasion of Intermot 2016, presented the renewed version of the YZF-R6 which immediately attracted the attention of enthusiasts thanks to its radical style, numerous technologies and cutting-edge electronics. The new 600cc now sports a more extreme look, inspired by the latest YZF-R1. The aggressive front end, the centrally positioned forced air intake inspired by that of the YZR-M1, and the recessed dual LED headlights make the new YZF-R6 instantly recognizable as a member of the renowned R-family Series.
