Wasp – Today at 19pm, on the occasion of the Notte Bianca in Pontedera, the exhibition will be inaugurated Night Memory, a trip on a Vespa through Milan, Rome and Palermo. A project born from an idea of the photographer Paolo Belletti and aimed at telling, right through the Wasp, an aspect that is often little known to us: the city experienced at night.

Images taken by Paolo Belletti between 2013 and 2015 they tell the identity of three very different cities, Milan, Rome and Palermo, represented almost in the form of a portrait, through the soft night lighting. The darkness reshapes the forms of silent architecture, the city emptied of human presence paradoxically seems almost to be reborn, redefining its identity, thus becoming a destination to discover and visit with different eyes. The exhibition Night Memory it is, therefore, un night journey through urban architecture, a journey made up of unexpected views, dim lights and gigantic squares and starts from an exhibition of around 30 photos accompanied by narrative notes by Giulia Cavaliere and completed by the short film by Corrado Fortuna who, in addition to retracing the itineraries photographed by Paolo Belletti on a Vespa , tells through multiple interviews the relationship of some characters with the three cities mentioned.

Guest star of the interview also the starchitect Fabio Novembre, the musician Saturnino, the director Paolo Virzì, the actress Carlotta Natoli, the magistrate Scarpinato, involved in the fight against the mafia and collaborator of Falcone and Borsellino in '92. Giulia Cavaliere's captions will accompany the photos and will introduce the visual journey through three stories. The exhibition is hosted by the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera and the photographer wanted to pay homage to the city by photographing one of its most symbolic places, which will also be reproduced in the exhibition.
