The Vespa World Days 2024 in Pontedera from 18 to 21 April

THE2024 edition of the Vespa World Days, the annual gathering of national Vespa Clubs from around the world, will be held from 18 to 21 April in Pontedera, right in the place where, in the spring of 1946, the two-wheeled vehicle was born, which over the years has become the most famous and loved in the world.

Two anniversaries to celebrate

It will therefore be the town home to the historic Piaggio factory, where the Vespa has been produced continuously for over 75 years, that will welcome the thousands of Vespa enthusiasts from all over the world. This will be a special edition of Vespa World Days, given that two important anniversaries will be celebrated on the occasion: 140 years since the foundation of Piaggio, born in 1884, and the 100 years of the historic Pontedera factory, purchased by Rinaldo Piaggio in 1924. 

The Vespa Village

The focus of the event will be Vespa Village, a Vespa-themed space which will host the numerous activities dedicated to the Vespa people, including the awards ceremonies Vespa Trophy, the most coveted tourist trophy, dedicated to those who reach Pontedera riding their beloved Vespa, collecting passage stamps at the various checkpoints, the Elegance Competition, merchandising and food and wine stands.

The big parade on Saturday 20 April

Tourist excursions will start from the Village through museums, natural beauty and food and wine experiences that will give emotions to the participating Vespa enthusiasts. Also from Pontedera, on the morning of Saturday 20 April, one of the most exciting moments of each Vespa World Days will begin: the great parade in which thousands of Vespa enthusiasts, riding Vespas from all eras, will parade in procession.
