Moto Morini find a buyer. Having gone bankrupt on 18 May 2010, the historic motorcycle manufacturer from Casalecchio di Reno had received no bids in the first unsuccessful auction that the bankruptcy court of Bologna had called last 13 April. In this second auction, however, the purchase offer arrived, the only one that told the truth. The new owners of Moto Morini are two entrepreneurs from Milan: Sandro Capotosti, former president of Banca Profilo, e Rogeromassimo Jannuzzelli, former vice president and CEO of the Camuzzi group, who set up the NewCo Eagle Bike for the occasion.

The two managed to acquire the group with an offer equal to 1 million and 960 thousand euros, which allowed them to win the company-real estate complex excluding the industrial warehouse in via Porrettana. Capotosti and Jannuzzelli therefore opted for this option for which the starting bid was set at 1 million and 950 thousand euros, including the loan for the use of the warehouse for two in the price. In addition to this option, no other offers were received, not even for the alternative that would have allowed the company and property to be purchased with a starting price set at 4.650.000 euros.
