EICMA E-bikes – The electric bicycle sector is experiencing a real boom, just think that last year alone in Italy the sales of E-bikes skyrocketed by +120%, 124.400 models purchased in 2016 alone.

The advantages of using a pedal-assisted electric bike in cities are now undeniable: the perfect combination of the agility of a bicycle combined with less effort and, above all, an eye towards the desired. These are the main reasons that are pushing Italians to move more and more on E-Bikes.

Given the success and development that this sector is experiencing, the EICMA, which will be held in Milan from 9 to 12 November, to remain faithful to its history and its desire to look forward, has decided to increase the space dedicated to this “new technology”.

For the second consecutive year, the agreement was signed between the International Cycle and Motorcycle Exhibition and BikeUP, the first festival in Europe dedicated entirely to electric bicycles (30.000 visitors in the 2017 edition).

There will be more than 30 exhibitors, where the public will be able to admire the latest innovations or closely observe the best-selling models and understand how motors, batteries and charging methods work. It's not just about looking, but there will be the opportunity to try many models on display. It will be possible to try the E-Bikes at the EICMA Village Area next to pavilion 18. At the disposal of the "electric cyclists" there will be 1.000 meters of track with a constant gradient of 8%, designed to allow them to experience the advantages on their legs of assisted pedaling.
