LS2 takes another important step towards finding the perfect helmet with the new one Road Touring FF327 GT Challenger, an innovative helmet, designed paying great attention to all details to achieve maximum results in terms of form, functionality and performance.

LS2 Road Touring FF327 GT Challenger: how it's made

The shell of the Road Touring FF327 GT Challenger is made of High Performance Fiberglass Composite (HPFC), a special high-performance tri-composite fiber (glass fibre, aramid fibers and carbon), used exclusively by LS2, which blends with a specially designed organic resin. A very resistant and ultra-light mixture, which allows the GT Challenger to deal with any impact in complete safety. Three is the number of shells, to guarantee a perfect fit and maximum comfort for the rider. The small shell is dedicated to sizes XXS-XS-S, the medium shell to sizes ML, while the large one to sizes XL-2XL-3XL. The internal polystyrene shell is made in five sizes with two different densities: a softer one in the head area, a harder one in the outer shell area. The ventilation system guarantees perfect air circulation inside the helmet: two fully adjustable intake vents in the upper part are connected to the rear extractors through our channeled EPS. The adjustable air intake on the chin guard is double-ported, to keep the visor free from any form of fogging. The particular shape of the shell and the internal channels of the LS2 GT CHALLENGER, together with the play of the air intakes, allow the helmet to offer the rider better control of internal ventilation and therefore a fresh and comfortable ride.

The visor is made of Lexan with Class A optical quality, with anti-scratch and anti-UV treatment. The extreme width of the visor allows the pilot to have an important view both laterally and vertically. The visor movement mechanism, LS2 patent, allows easy removal for changing or cleaning the visor itself. The presence of the Twin Shield System (TSS), the internal sun visor that can be operated via a lever on the left side of the helmet, guarantees excellent riding comfort in all visibility conditions. LS2 GT CHALLENGER uses Pinlock Max Vision 70, the best anti-fog system available in the world. The removable and washable interiors of the LS2 GT Challenger feature hypoallergenic and breathable microfibre fabrics of the highest quality. Fabrics and sponges, cut with the laser, are coupled without glue to allow air to circulate better and absorb humidity, keeping the interior always ventilated. The side cheek pads are easily removable in the event of an accident, thanks to the presence of an emergency system. Safety and comfort of the new LS2 GT Challenger are also expressed by the reinforced steel strap with quick release clasp and micrometric adjustment.
