KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT – The new KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT will arrive in dealerships later this month. More than deserving of the SUPER DUKE moniker, the GT is the fastest Sport Touring V-twin on the market. Since it was officially presented in Milan in November at EICMA 2016, the world has been waiting to see the real capabilities of the new KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT. Between the end of February and the beginning of March, media from all over the world were invited to test the new KTM product on the challenging and varied roads that characterize the Spanish island of Mallorca. An intense journey through a multitude of weather conditions and asphalt grip levels, which allowed the various journalists to try out the myriad of electronic settings offered by the new GT, such as its semi-active WP suspension and multiple ride modes.

The new KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT arrives at dealers with its standard features which include electronic cruise control, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), heated grips, LED lights in combination with automatic canceling LED indicators in curve. Of great importance for its innate qualities as a motorcycle capable of covering long distances, there is the 23 liter tank, the extended rear subframe with integrated supports for the optional trunk, the comfortable seats and an adjustable windscreen height. Additionally, Hill Hold Control (HHC) and Motor Slip Regulation (MSR) are available, which prevents the rear wheel from losing grip, which would force the rider to cut the throttle or dump the clutch when downshifting. .
